saithan first look posterThe first look of Vijay Antony‘s upcoming film ‘Saithan‘ is out and it has been making waves in the social media. Meanwhile, the music composer-turned-actor is happy with the ‘success’ of the Telugu version of his recent Tamil hit ‘Pichaikaran’.

Released over the past weekend, ‘Bichagadu’ (title of the Telugu version) has begun to alter many earlier records, said a press release, which quoted Vijay Antony as saying: “I owe this success to my Director Sasi sir and my distributor Lakshman. His courage on releasing this film against a massive film, pinning hopes on the content has been the biggest plus factor.”

He said further: “I am indeed excited to be termed as a hero who can command commercial respect in two languages at the same time. I was told that it is a rare occasion for a Tamil hero to be accepted in this region of the country.”

With a proper script, execution and plan on the release I’m confident that all my future films will have a great visibility here in the Telugu film industry. This effort will enhance my commercial reputation as a star in south, he added.

At present, Vijay Antony is busy with films such as ‘Yeman’ and ‘Hitler’.
