Comedy Actress Vidyulekha Raman, who is currently in Vienna, has lost her passport, cards and currency. She has given a ‘SOS call’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
“@SushmaSwaraj My bag has been stolen with passport, cards & currency in my hotel lobby. Need to contact the Indian embassy asap in Vienna,” the ‘Veeram’ and ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’ actress tweeted.
On how her bag was stolen, she said: “So I was not allowed to see the CCTV footage in the 5 star hotel but the Austrian police saw it.. A man has entered distracted me for a sec. He asked me how to get to an address and by the time I said I don’t know..His friend came from behind & took it. Shocked. Hope embassy helps.”
Devastating to have had a fab trip with friends and it ends on a sour note with all money, passport and valuables lost. Fate I guess, Vidyulekha added.
Finally, seeking the help of the Prime Minister, she tweeted: “@PMOIndia My bag has been stolen with passport, cards & currency in my hotel lobby. Need to contact the Indian embassy asap in Vienna. Sos”.
