Divya Spandana is back with a bangDivya Spandana aka ‘Kuthu’ Ramya was not seen in much action after she entered politics and became an MP in the previous Congress regime. However now, she is eyeing a comeback in cinema.

She has been roped in to play the lead role in a Kannada-Telugu movie titled ‘Nagarahavu’, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. This is her first film since 2014, it is to be noted.

The first look of the flick was released recently and Ramya, despite being seen gorgeous in a yellow sari, was giving fierce looks. Tipped to be an eerie thriller, the movie, it is said, will have a Tamil version too.

Ramya made her acting debut in the 2003 Kannada-language film ‘Abhi’, opposite Puneet Rajkumar. She subsequently starred in several Kannada films alongside leading actors and, following successive commercial successes, established herself as one of the most sought-after actresses in the Kannada film industry. She is also popular in Kollywood and Tollywood.

Do Lafzon Ki KahaniA couple of days after a still from upcoming Hindi flick ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’, in which Kajal Agarwal and Randeep Hooda are seen emotionally kissing each other, hit the social media, a lot of controversy is brewing over it.

Sources close to the actress have been maintaining that she was totally unaware of the smooch scene and it was a surprise impromptu kiss which the director and the actor (Randeep) planned without her knowledge, as they thought it would add value to the movie.

Confirming this, the film’s director Deepak said in a statement, “I do remember Kajal had told me that she does not do kissing scenes on screen, as she is a huge south Indian movie star, and this would impact her career in south movies. But let me tell you there was no intention to malign her or kiss her out of force; it was the emotional moment between two lovers as per the script, and I generally prefer actors doing scenes impromptu, so Randeep followed the emotional quotient of the scene, and made a go at it.”

He added: “Sure it did send Kajal in a state of some shock, and she did back off calling for a cut, but, later on, once I had explained to her the significance of the lip lock, she surrendered herself to the script, and went on to do the scene with all the passion she could put in.”
