This isn’t based on heroes’ characterisations, but we bring you the factual rating based on the performance of best actors with their roles and significances in 2015.
1. Kamal Haasan:
The greatest universal hero surprised us by offering three releases in the same year. All of them had something in commonality, where he played an emotional father and the bonding was beyond great feelings. Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Thoonga Vanam were based on different genres, but father-children relationship was the core.
2. Aravind Swamy:
His comeback in Kadal would not have earned him reputation, but this one was magically awesome. His antagonistic appeal in ‘Thani Oruvan’ has made everyone turn to his fandom league irresistibly.
3. Ajith Kumar:
When an actor is on the peak of his career, they would hardly go for some variations. While Yennai Arindhaal was completely catered for multiplex audiences, he flexed his muscles tremendously for a mass entertainer in ‘Vedalam’.
4. Jayam Ravi:
Can you imagine, this actor didn’t have a proper phase till last year and by the second half of 2015, he became a game changer with four consecutive releases including Romeo Juliet, Appatakkar, Thani Oruvan and Bhooloham.
5. Arun Vijay:
He was desperately waiting for a break and it all came with ‘Yennai Arindhaal’, where he fetched incredible praises from even Ajith Kumar fans in spite of confronting him on the screens.
