The year 2015 has seen films from various genres find pounding success. The survey we had started off on 25-12-2015 and ended at 4:00pm on 31-12-2015. The responses were purely based on the audience and no sort of discrimination could have creped in as we have even taken out repeated response from the same IP’s .

Now after hours of hard work to bring out the best possible output we now are proud to release the results that you have given….

Best Hero:

The two main stars of this generation, Ajith and Vijay have found themselves is a close enough with fans supporting their stars in every stage. While Ajith has had two block busters, Vijay had one different attempt with his Fantasy film, Puli.

Best Heroine:

Hard work is one that word that goes fine with this untiring Heroine, Nayanthara who has found success in almost every genre the Tamil film industry has. Even after a huge break she proved herself the best this scintillating year.

Best Movie:

The best talents brought in their best this year and it would have definitely a really tough task to select from movies like Baahubali, Thani Oruvan, Vedhalam, I etc. However there is only one No.1 position and the Ajith-Siva’s combo VEDHALAM found the best spot in the people’s heart

Best Director:

This was the category that didn’t have much to do as it simply pops up The two great legends Shankar and S.S.Rajamouli to almost everybody’s mind. And undoubtedly it is both of them who found themselves in the top two positions with a huge win margin

Best Music Director:

With Grammys and Oscars in hand, it would have definitely been a worry if the Legend A.R. Rahman didn’t find the top spot. His amazing touch that spun love in O Kadhal Kanmani, found himself the top spot for the year amidst many other talents like Anirudh and Ghibran.

This isn’t based on heroes’ characterisations, but we bring you the factual rating based on the performance of best actors with their roles and significances in 2015.

1. Kamal Haasan:

The greatest universal hero surprised us by offering three releases in the same year. All of them had something in commonality, where he played an emotional father and the bonding was beyond great feelings. Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Thoonga Vanam were based on different genres, but father-children relationship was the core.

2. Aravind Swamy:

His comeback in Kadal would not have earned him reputation, but this one was magically awesome. His antagonistic appeal in ‘Thani Oruvan’ has made everyone turn to his fandom league irresistibly.

3. Ajith Kumar:

When an actor is on the peak of his career, they would hardly go for some variations. While Yennai Arindhaal was completely catered for multiplex audiences, he flexed his muscles tremendously for a mass entertainer in ‘Vedalam’.

4. Jayam Ravi:

Can you imagine, this actor didn’t have a proper phase till last year and by the second half of 2015, he became a game changer with four consecutive releases including Romeo Juliet, Appatakkar, Thani Oruvan and Bhooloham.

5. Arun Vijay:

He was desperately waiting for a break and it all came with ‘Yennai Arindhaal’, where he fetched incredible praises from even Ajith Kumar fans in spite of confronting him on the screens.
